What separates SAR from the rest of the pack is its overly-cute aesthetic which has players choosing from a variety of animals and dressing them up in costumes before taking to the battlefield. There is still a zone that is constantly shrinking inward, and players must scavenge around the map to find weapons.
With a pretty dedicated community and developers that are regularly pushing out new content, Super Animal Royale is a free-to-play top-down shooter that operates much like other traditional battle royale releases. Unfortunately, many of these experiences were pretty cookie-cutter and felt very similar to massively popular releases like PUBG, Fortnite, or Warzone.
